Also an About chapter with some bio stuff and of course the required muskie fish fotos of me. I can stick as much stuff into an ebook as I wish and it won't cost anymore for me or the reader. More content means more value too. I am still juggling in my mind what I should make the price. $3.99 will sell lots of copies. $4.99 too much? The book will have 222 cartoons plus the other stuff. Tell me your thoughts people!
I have all the chapters with cartoons laid out and ready to start an InDesign book file. That's where you bring the chapters together and start creating the book as a whole. I have the Intro or Outro as I will call it to do. (placing front matter like an introduction at the back allows Kindle's preview on Amazon the most toons previewed with their 10% amount of the book you can look at)

Book one in the "Cartoons That Will ... etc ..." series is now offered by 15 sellers. Amazon is far and away the top seller but it never hurts to have more.
There is a cool little app I use to show me what is on my iPad screen on my desktop monitor. Reflector.
Cover is done. Kindle's specs for a cover these days are: "Kindle books must have a marketing cover image provided for use on the website detail page. The preferred format for the marketing cover is an image of 2560 pixels on the longest side and 1600 pixels on the shortest side with 350 dpi to ensure image clarity on Kindle HDX devices. The image file size should be 5MB or smaller."
5 MBs?! Are you serious? Well since they automatically put me in the 35% royalty rate due to the size of my ebooks with all their image files I guess file size is no longer a big concern. But then why did they charge us a delivery fee for file sizes in the first place? We know why. Working on the e-book in e-arnest. I get live previews using Reflector of my iPad's screen in different pad models. I use iTunes Book Proofer to edit in real time and get updated views. I also use iExplorer to actually get inside my ipad and move files in and out. It's coo.
