Not every e-book is destined for greatness. Just as there are hits there are occasionally efforts that don't resonate as well with the buying public. E-book readers aren't indiscriminate buyers. They have their likes and their not-so-likes. Dave Blazek's book was a corporate project of a tech company's blog cartoons. A highly specific audience. It was supposed to be a vehicle to raise money for something or other project. I don't know if it raised much; I created it for a flat fee and did not handle the distribution. But I do know that a book's rank in the Kindle Top 100 is a very good indicator of an e-book's success. No. 1 is the best but there is another record milestone that is almost as impressive if not very profitable in the Top 100: no. 1,000,000!
Keep pluggin', there's always the next e-book Dave!
